Refugees and Migrants in South Africa fearing for their lives

Hundreds, even thousands of refugees and migrants in South Africa are seeking refuge to
police stations and offices of home affairs (mainly in Durban) as fear mounts following
ultimatum by locals that all foreign nationals should leave South Africa by 30th June 2026.

Mama Butunga foundation is an established initiative no profit company started in 2010 under Bibimba's Family (by supporting hopeless people to restore there hope af iife. ln May 2AL8 Mama Butunga Foundatlon become an established company which start to provide skills development povertyalleviation and social cohesion.

Objectives

The objectives of Mama Butunga Foundation is to see the realizatfon of the vislon and mission shall provide relevant resources; provides different skills, eounseling, poverty alleviation, to the hopeless people in our community; and to see a hopeless people at a working place for the better life.
Our principle is that "if you give to me a food (bread) I will eat once; but if you teach me how to get that food, I will eat everyday"
